6 Nov Eco Schools Malaysia & GEP Roadmap 2030 ceremony

TEMERLOH, 6 November 2023 -  Kebawah Duli Yang Maha Mulia Seri Paduka Baginda Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah Ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Al-Musta'in Billah was present to complete the Oppening Ceremony of Eco-Schools Malaysia & GEP Roadmap 2030 at Sekolah Berasrama Penuh Integrasi (SBPI) Temerloh, Pahang. Also present were YAB Dato' Sri Wan Rosly bin Wan Ismail (Chief Minister of Pahang) and YB. Dato' Sri Ir. Haji Mohd Soffi Bin Tan Sri Abd. Razak ( State Exco of Agriculture, Farming Industry, Biotechnology and Education Pahang), YB Puan Lim Hui Ying (Acting Minister of Education Malaysia), Sahibus Saadah Dato' Badli Shah bin Alauddin (Acting Mufti Negeri Pahang) YDH. Dato' Sri Yahaya Bin Othman (Chief of Pahang Police), YH. Dato' Khairul Rizal bin Ramli (Temerloh Regional Officer), YDH. Supt. Roslee bin Omar (Timb. Chairman of Temerloh Regional Police), Heads of State and Regional Departments. The Ceremony which took place at 11.00 am is an important step in the effort to promote awareness of the environment among the younger generation. In this prestigious assembly, I-AQUAS participated with an exhibition conceptualized on aquaculture and aquatic science. The presence of Kebawah Duli Yang Maha Mulia Seri Paduka Baginda Yang di-Pertuan Agong in this majlis provided support and recognition to the efforts made in ensuring environmental education becomes part of the education curriculum in schools in Malaysia. Eco-Schools Malaysia & GEP Roadmap 2030 is a strategic step towards achieving this matlamat, with an emphasis on environmental education and effective stewardship of natural resources. Majlis Perasmian Eco-Schools Malaysia & GEP Roadmap 2030 at SBPI Temerloh is a historic event that will continue to inspire the younger generation of Malaysians to become protectors of the environment and leaders in the effort to preserve the environment in the future.
