The International Institute of Aquaculture and Aquatic Sciences (I-AQUAS), Universiti Putra Malaysia, has received a visit from NoSelf Netherlands.

This visit was led by Mr. Marcello (Chief Technology Officer) at NoSelf AND B.V. with Mr. Bram Koppert (Managing Director) NoSelf AND Asia and Mr. Nick Jens (ISTAR).

NoSelf was founded in 2010 by Professor Stefano Mazzoleni and 28 researchers and associates. NoSelf's discovery of the inhibitory effect of extracellular self-DNA is a major breakthrough that has the potential to change the paradigm of pest and disease control in agriculture, animal husbandry and
human health. NoSelf is the holder of several patents worldwide and publishes many scientific discoveries and publications.

These two novel and patented technologies (NoSelf and Mr. Marcello Diano's microalgae) are collaborating as NoSelf AND B.V., bringing disruptive products and concepts to the market as a basis in new technologies. Both are backed by worldwide patents and an industry-unique set of production know-how and trade secrets.

The purpose of this visit is to see the research facilities and activities available at I-AQUAS and to discuss potential research collaborations in the future.
