On June 28, 2024, I-AQUAS welcomed two international students from India under the UPM Mobility Program. This program is offered to meet the needs of international students who wish to spend a semester or a year studying in Malaysia. The students, Daiba Bani Baruah (23 years old) and Sanayaima Singha (28 years old), have been placed at I-AQUAS for exposure in the field of aquaculture. Both of them are students from the Faculty of Fisheries Science, Assam Agricultural University, India, and they have undergone a two-week aquaculture exposure at I-AQUAS. By participating in such mobility programs, students gain new knowledge, cultural understanding, maturity, and new friendships.
