Institute of Aquaculture and Aquatic Sciences (I-AQUAS) adopts the Clients Charter of OFFICE OF THE DEPUTY VICE CHANCELLOR (RESEARCH & INNOVATION) for research and innovation, and the Clients Charter of SCHOOL OF GRADUATE STUDIES because all registration matters are carried out by SGS.
Client Charter Research and Innovation
- Issue an approval letter for grant application within fourteen (14) working days from receipt of the approval letter from grant sponsor.
- Issue a grant offer letter within twenty one (21) working days after receiving the result from the grant application.
- Inform the result on the application to attend seminars / conferences / workshops / visit abroad (SKBL) within five (5) working days after the SKBL Committee Meeting.
- Issue a Letter of Application for Certificate of Intellectual Property Protection within five (5) working days from the date of assessment by the Evaluation Committee of Intellectual Property (JPHI).
- Inform the result on the application to exhibit research competitions within twenty one (21) working days of the closing date.
- Inform the result of the ethical clearance approval within three (3) working days after receiving the decision from the related committee.

Client Charter Postgraduate
- To announce result of application into the programme latest within two (2) months after a complete application is received by School of Graduate Studies.
- To inform the result of application to appoint Supervisory Committee latest within two (2) months from the date of a complete application is received.
- To inform the result of application to defer studies within seven (7) working days after the application is verified by the respective Faculty/Institute.
- To inform the result of application to extend the duration of study within seven (7) working days after the application is verified by the respective Faculty/Institute.
- To inform the result of application to change programme/field of study within two (2) months after a complete application is received.
- To inform the result of application to upgrade studies to the PhD programme latest within two (2) months after a complete application is received.
- To inform the result of the application for graduate assistance (GRF/GRA) latest within two (2) months after the application deadline.
- To inform the semester results to the students within six (6) weeks after the last day of the examination week.
- To ensure that students sit for the viva voce within three (3) months after thesis submission to the School of Graduate Studies for examination.
- To inform the result of application of dismissal appeal within seven (7) working days after Senate’s decision.
- To inform the result of degree conferment to students within seven (7) working days upon approval by the Senate.
