On September 15, 2023, in Port Dickson, Prof. Dr. Ahmad Zaharin Aris, the Director of I-AQUAS, officiated the inauguration of the EKSA and Green Sustainability Day at the Responsibility Center. This program was not only celebrated with a spirit of volunteerism through community service activities but also featured the painting and decoration of laboratory buildings to create reading corners and green sustainability areas.

In alignment with the vision and mission of Universiti Putra Malaysia, which emphasizes sustainable and eco-friendly workplace practices, I-AQUAS also developed an innovative Rain Harvesting system to conserve rainwater. The goal of this system is to reduce water usage by collecting rainwater for daily use, which is a crucial step in preserving our water resources.

Furthermore, expert speakers in the fields of EKSA and Green Sustainability from UPM Serdang were invited to deliver lectures and presentations to the staff of I-AQUAS. These lecture sessions aimed to raise awareness about the importance of creating a conducive work environment rooted in sustainable values. Through knowledge-sharing, it is hoped that all I-AQUAS staff members will collectively strive to achieve this goal in their daily activities.
