International Institute of Aquaculture and Aquatic Science (I-AQUAS) welcomes New Staff

I-AQUAS, UPM Port Dickson Campus - The International Institute of Aquaculture and Aquatic Science (I-AQUAS) is pleased to announce the acceptance of three new staff in an effort to accelerate the management and improve the institute's achievements. The admission of these new staff is expected to benefit I-AQUAS and further strengthen the institute's presence and reputation in the field of aquaculture and aquatic science.
The newly elected members are Intan Nurdiah binti Mohd Haris, Mohd Shazwan bin Jamhari, and Siti Nur Halimah binti Suboh. Each of these new members brings valuable expertise and experience to I-AQUAS, as well as a strong commitment to contribute to the development of the aquaculture and aquatic science sectors.
Intan Nurdiah binti Mohd Haris, with a background in basic agricultural development, was appointed as the I-AQUAS Funding Unit Coordinator. She will be responsible for ensuring the Institute's fundraising activities are in good and orderly condition, including the management of resources and the development of quality programs.
Mohd Shazwan bin Jamhari has been appointed as a Science Officer at I-AQUAS starting April 3, 2023. He will be performing duties in the management of the laboratory and indirectly involved in hatchery activities. His expertise and experience will play an important role in helping to advance knowledge in the field of aquaculture and also implement more efficient management practices.
Siti Nur Halimah binti Suboh, is a Administrative Assistant (P/O), who is assigned at I-AQUAS to manage and execute the Research Geran Management section ( University / public / private / international), Student Management and is also responsible under the Funding Unit run by the institute. With her expertise in project design and management, she will ensure the achievement of the goals and success of the projects.
Professor Dr. Ahmad Zaharin Aris, Director of I-AQUAS, welcomed the new staff at the recent I-AQUAS Majlis Hari Raya, and hoped that with their expertise and commitment, I-AQUAS will become more resilient in its efforts to advance aquaculture and aquatic science.
