The I-AQUAS Directors together with the Head of Laboratories and the research officer have made a courtesy visit to the Department of Fisheries of Malaysia in Putrajya. The purpose of the visit was to discuss the subject of aquaculture and the potential for cooperation between the two parties. 

This meeting discussed the cooperation between the DOF and I-AQUAS in exploring the aquaculture sector which includes aspects of technology, development of livestock systems, management of fishery resources in an established manner to build an aquaculture industry, especially ketam farming which will be implemented by the local community.
