July 27, 2023, the International Institute of Aquaculture and Aquatic Sciences (I-AQUAS) participated in the Food Security Forum towards Madani Malaysia held at the INTAN Complex, Bukit Kiara, Kuala Lumpur. The forum aimed to discuss various aspects related to food security in Malaysia and involved panels from various fields.

One of the main topics discussed in this forum was the government's role in enhancing food security. Invited panelists engaged in discussions about strategies and measures that the government can take to ensure the country's food sources and production are secure and sustainable.

This Food Security Forum also served as a platform for participants to share information about the policies and initiatives currently being undertaken by the government to improve food security in the country. The objective of these initiatives is to strengthen cooperation and close networks between the government and non-government sectors in achieving common goals towards a Madani Malaysia that focuses on sustainability and food security.
